Eukanuba™ Get Out Competition – Terms and Conditions | Pet Owner

  1. Promoter
    This competition (“Competition”) is conducted by Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Royal Canin South Africa”) for its Eukanuba™ product range.

 

  1. Website Ownership
    Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd owns and manages the website at https://healththroughnutrition.co.za.

 

  1. Liability for Entries
    Although Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd will take all reasonable steps, it will not be liable for any technical problems, system errors, or lost, delayed, or incorrectly received entries.

 

  1. Competition Period
    The Competition will run from 30 October 2025 to 28 November 2025 (both days inclusive). Late entries will not be accepted.

 

  1. Who Can Enter
    The Competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.

    You are not eligible to participate if:

  • You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent, or consultant of Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd, its affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries, holding companies, or any other person supplying goods or services in connection with the Competition; or
  • You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child, sibling, or immediate family member of the persons specified above; or
  • You are employed by or directly associated with any participants, suppliers, agencies, advertisers, sponsors, or producers linked to this promotion.

 

  1. How to Enter
    To enter, participants must scan the QR code on promotional material and follow the prompts to complete their entry online before midnight on 28 November 2025.

    Each valid entry submitted within the competition period will count as one entry into the draw.

  1. Agreement to Terms
    By entering the Competition, each participant (“Participant”) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) in their entirety. These Terms, should they require interpretation, will be interpreted by Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd in its sole and absolute discretion, but in accordance with applicable law.
  1. Prizes
    Prizes include:

  • Fieldbar Cooler 10L
  • R1,000 Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers
    • Pictures are for illustration purposes only – actual prizes may vary in colour or model.
    • Brand names and logos are used solely to describe the prizes and are not affiliated with, or endorsing, this Competition.
    • Prizes are not transferable, not exchangeable for cash, and acceptance thereof cannot be deferred.
  1. Winner Selection and Notification
    • Winners will be selected weekly by random draw throughout the promotional period.
    • Each winner will be contacted by phone and email within 2 working days of the draw.
    • If a winner cannot be reached within 3 working days of the initial contact, a replacement winner will be drawn.
    • A physical delivery address within a main city in South Africa must be provided for delivery of the prize.
    • Winner notifications may be issued by Eukanuba™’s appointed third-party promotions agency, acting on behalf of the promoter and managing the verification and distribution of prizes.
  1. Publicity
    Winners may be requested (but are not obliged) to participate in reasonable publicity and marketing activities, including social media, photography, and promotional use of names and images. Permission may be withdrawn by any participant at any time.
  1. Royal Canin South Africa’s Discretion
    Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition or any part thereof, without notice, for any reason deemed necessary, including technical or commercial issues. Participants acknowledge that they will not have any claim against Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd as a result of such decisions.
  1. Disqualification
    Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any participant who commits dishonesty, fraud, or any act of misconduct, including but not limited to falsifying information, manipulating entries, or violating these Terms.
  1. No Correspondence
    The decision of Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd regarding any aspect of this Competition, including prize allocation, eligibility, or interpretation of the Terms, is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  1. Warranties and Representations
    Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd does not make any representations or give any warranties, express or implied, as to the prizes. No warranty is given that any entry will result in a prize.
  1. Use of Personal Information
    Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd will process participants’ personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and the Mars Privacy Policy available at https://www.mars.com/privacy-policy.

    By participating, entrants consent to:

  • The collection and processing of their personal information by Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd, its authorised operators, agents, and subcontractors (who may be located outside South Africa) for purposes related to this Competition;
  • The retention of such information for as long as legally permissible for reporting, marketing, and compliance purposes; and
  • Receiving marketing information about Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd and its affiliated brands, provided that participants may opt out at any time.
  1. Liability and Indemnity
    To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd, its holding companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and representatives (including employees, contractors, and agents) disclaim all liability and shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from participation in the Competition or use of a prize, including but not limited to property damage or claims based on publicity rights or privacy.

    Participants hereby indemnify and hold Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd harmless from any such claims.

  1. Jurisdiction
    These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
  1. Entire Agreement
    This document constitutes the sole record of the agreement between Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd and the Participants in relation to this Competition. It supersedes all prior understandings or representations, whether oral or written. No variation will be binding unless reduced to writing and signed by an authorised representative of Royal Canin South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
